Roadmap for Social Entrepreneurship in DRR
The Roadmap comprises generic recommendations to create an enabling ecosystem for social enterprises. In the case of Malaysia, the entry point is the proposed Selangor Climate Change Policy, which will be supported by living local level action plans. The DRR Social Entrepreneurs could serve as key players in the formulation and updating of such plans, in conjunction with local communities and information on geohazards from the MyBahaya Platform. In Cambodia, the Roadmap focused on developing Business Plans, which is of key importance for agriculture cooperatives in building resilience to drought. In both countries, partnerships need to be pursued at multiple levels to ensure its implementation.
