Towards IPCC AR7: How can ASEAN climate experts be involved? [Deadline: 23 October 2024, 12pm]

The Intergovernmental Panel Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group II and III are excited to invite you to tune in to this upcoming event with IPCC Co-Chairs titled, ‘Towards IPCC AR7:  How can ASEAN climate experts be involved?’ on Thursday, 24 October 2024, 5 – 6:30 pm.

The representation of diverse perspectives and scientific expertise from regions like Southeast Asia is crucial especially as IPCC continues to shape global climate policy through its comprehensive assessment reports. As we embark on the 7th Assessment Cycle (AR7), we are bringing together scientists, researchers, and experts from across the ASEAN region to discuss priority areas for climate change adaptation and mitigation, especially in developing countries, less development countries (LDCs), small island developing states (SIDS), and cities.
