The Geological Disasters Knowledge and Awareness Training of Trainers (TOT) will be organised by the Southeast Asia Disaster Prevention Research Initiative (SEADPRI-UKM), U-INSPIRE Malaysia@UKM and National Geographic Young Explorer with support from the ANCST STG on Young Professionals in DRR and Climate Change and UNICEF Malaysia. The aim of this national event is to educate and encourage Malaysian Youth and Young Professionals (YYPs) understanding risk of geological disasters in Malaysia and its surrounding regions. This TOT is expected to establish a cohort of YYPs to go to the ground (school) to implement knowledge they obtained from TOT as a pilot case study.
