The Training of Trainers of Disasters Risk Reduction (DRR) Knowledge and Awareness will be organised by the Southeast Asia Disaster Prevention Research Initiative (SEADPRI-UKM), Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Tengkuan Ampuan Afzan, Pusat Kecemerlangan Pedagogi Peribumi Kebangsaan and UNICEF Malaysia with support from the ANCST STG on Young Professionals in DRR and Climate Change and U-INSPIRE Malaysia@UKM. The aim of this training is to educate and encourage the future educators at IPG on DRR knowledge and awareness in order to build their capacity towards disaster resilience. This TOT is also considered as one of the approaches to increase awareness among Malaysian youth in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change through education. The training will be conducted at Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Kampus Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuala Lipis, Pahang on 22 August 2022, 8am – 6pm (GMT+8).
