UNDRR Asia Pacific Science Technology Advisory Group (UN-APSTAG), along with Tohoku University and other partners (ADRRN, APRU, DPRI, GADRI, IRDR, NIED, SADRI, SIP and others) will organize 6th Asia Pacific Science Technology Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction (APSTCDRR) on 9-11 March 2027 in Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. A publication on status of Science Technology and Innovation (STI) in the Asia Pacific region is in the preparation. A survey of all related stakeholders is planned to understand the progress, gaps and challenges on use of STI in implementing the Sendai Framework and propose future pathways.
